Arendsig Single Vineyard Shiraz
On the nose I got a scent of leather, spice, ripe cherries, tobacco, and on the pallet, big structure, lingering round tannin, loads of fruit.
I found it to be rich and intense, with a lingering tannin structure, personally what I like in a red wine.
As you can see, I’ve leaned heavily to beef for pairing with Shiraz. Pork or even duck with strongly flavoured sauces can also work, providing the sauce is not sweet.
