Red Bordeaux wine is a well-known and prized blend from the French Bordeaux region. The definition of a Bordeaux style red blend wine set forth is a wine that has some or all of the five allowed red grape varieties as permitted in Bordeaux, France: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
